Die mortal beings
With your life spans and searches for intelligence
and expectations that there are answers out there somewhere…

There aren't.

I know that for a fact.
I've been everywhere, but I haven't seen anything.
There's nothing more out there than there is right here were you live,
and yet…
You still try.
